HydroStar 4300 is a well proven single beam survey echo sounder, available as single frequency sounder (200 kHz) or dual-frequency sounder (200/30 kHz). For dual frequency operation only one transducer containing two elements is supplied. Maximum water depths achieved with these options are 80m (single frequency) or 1500m (dual frequency). HydroStar 4300 adds swell compensation and corrects sound velocity. It provides advanced digital signal processing for reliable bottom detection and automatic chart annotation.
